M-Gender
Mentale Health and Gender – Development and Testing of a digital intervention to promote mental health among informal caregivers
The project
M-Gender is a research project that aims to promote mental health among informal caregivers with the help of the digital application "PflegeBot". Informal caregivers are persons who provide unpaid and non-professional care to their family members (i.e. their parents, parents-in-law or spouses / partners), who become dependent in old age to varying degrees. The health promotion intervention "PflegeBot" was implemented in co-design with informal caregivers, researchers and representatives of associations, self-help groups and healthcare providers who are committed to informal care. The project is funded by the GKV-Bündnis für Gesundheit and carried out by the Leibniz-Institute for Prevention Research and Epidemiology - BIPS in co-operation with the Institute of Public Health and Nursing Research (IPP-Bremen).
